Your privacy matters. SteadVault is built on the principle that your personal and property data belongs to you. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
1. Information We Collect
When you create a SteadVault account, we collect: • Account information: your name and email address used to log in. • Optional property information: address details, purchase dates, insurance info, and related property data you choose to enter. • Optional vehicle information: make, model, VIN, service history, and related vehicle data you choose to enter. • Maintenance and task records: reminders, notes, appliance data, vendor contacts, and emergency preparedness information you add. • Usage data: general interaction data used to improve the app experience (no personally identifiable behavioral tracking is sold or shared).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide and improve the SteadVault service: • To display your properties, vehicles, tasks, and records within the app. • To send maintenance reminders and renewal notifications you configure. • To manage your membership and billing through our payment processor (Stripe). • To respond to account support requests. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on the Base44 platform infrastructure. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. Access to your data is limited to you and the platform systems required to operate the service. No third-party marketing services have access to your personal account data.
4. Reminders & Notifications
SteadVault sends maintenance reminders and task notifications based on schedules and intervals you set. These are informational only. You may disable or adjust notification settings at any time within the app.
5. Third-Party Integrations
SteadVault uses the following third-party services to operate: • Stripe – for payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs how payment data is handled. SteadVault does not store full card numbers. • Base44 – the development platform hosting the application infrastructure. These third parties are bound by their own privacy policies and are selected for their security and reliability. We do not share your personal data beyond what is operationally required.
6. Your Data Rights
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from the Account settings page. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed from our systems. You may also export or review your stored data by contacting us directly.
7. Children's Privacy
SteadVault is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us for removal.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of SteadVault after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
